Jennifer Katanyoutanant works with interactive mediums like VR, installation, and food to create objects and experiences that facilitate communication and co-creates systems of sharing and exchange. Her projects have explored ecological manifestations of the Youtube recommendation algorithm, creative communities around emerging technology, and cultivating remote intimacy through food and live web performance.
Past commissions and residencies include: Ars Electronica, Goethe Institut, British Council, Saari Residency, ZKM + Akademis Shloss Solitude’s Web Residency, ORTung Hintersee, Prince Claus Fund, Art Gene UK, and Oculus Launch Pad
Previously, Jennifer consulted on communication campaigns for organization such as USAID, Johnson & Johnsons, Synergy Social Ventures, Impact Investment Exchange Asia, and freelanced for publications such as NBC Asian America, Quartz, Bangkok Post, and more. She still keeps these skills in her back pocket.
