PIFcamp + Hackers Trip to SEAsia

PIFcamp

PIFcamp is a 7-day hacker-base set in Slovenian nature, where art, technology and knowledge meet.

The participants of the camp take the leading part in holding workshops, practical field trips, theoretical lectures and on-sight briefings and actively participate in the development of various DIY projects, while collaborating together in a creative working environment. In DIY, DIWO and DITO manner! In addition, we try to document projects and published them online.

Thanks to a grant from the Prince Claus Fund, I came to Soca Valley to work on my edible board game with friend and collaborator, Grace. We developed the first prototype, tested it with 6 different groups, and produced another interactive DinnerCon with new collaborators.

Hacker’s Trip Through SEA (HTTSEA)

Michelle, a good friend and collaborator, kicked off the Southeast Asia portion of Noisebridge’s famous Hackers Trip Through China in Bangkok, and meeting all the brilliant engineers, programmers, and makers inspired me to join in on the next leg, Vietnam! We stayed in Ho Chi Minh for 5 days visiting makerspaces, schools, labs, and spent our nights working on our projects. Parkview, a maker from Australia, became my Arduino guru and taught me how to solder and other physical computing basics. Learned a ton and had a lot of fun.
